How to use DriveFlow

From download to your first transfer.

Install

  1. Go to the Download page and get the Windows installer.
  2. Open the file and follow the installer. If Windows SmartScreen warns you, choose More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Open DriveFlow from the Start menu.

Sign in to DriveFlow

  1. In DriveFlow, choose Sign in with Google.
  2. Your browser opens the sign-in page. Choose your Google account.
  3. Return to DriveFlow. The app activates automatically, with no key to enter.

Your DriveFlow account is separate from the Google Drive accounts you connect in the next step. You can sign in to DriveFlow with one account and connect several different Drives.

Connect Google Drive

  1. Select Connect Google Drive at the top left.
  2. Choose the Google account whose Drive you want to use and allow access.
  3. To add another account, open the account list again and connect one more.

Transfer files

  • Upload: select files or folders in the PC column, then choose Upload.
  • Download: select files in the Google Drive column, then choose Download.
  • Download from links: choose Download from Drive link and paste one or more links.
  • Queue: open the Queue tab to see progress and pause or resume each file.

Manage devices

Go to your account page to see the computers you’ve signed in on and sign out any you no longer use.

If something goes wrong

  • Session expired: sign in again. Transfers in progress aren’t cancelled.
  • No internet: DriveFlow keeps using your signed-in session for a while and checks again when you’re back online.
  • Still stuck? Email contact@driveflow.casa with your DriveFlow version and a screenshot.
